This piece wasn't easy to make. First, I had to pick what I wanted to print that incorporated the theme line. Then, I had to draw it in my sketchbook. After the sketch was done I used black marker and white out to see what my drawing would look like when it was printed. To transfer this drawing on the linoleum block I had to scribble with pencil on the backside of it and trace the drawing while the linoleum block was under the drawing. Once the drawing was on the linoleum block and I had traced it with sharpie, it was time to cut it. I cut it with a linoleum cutting tool. Cutting the block was the most time consuming part of this whole process. After that I had to print it. Printing the print was the hardest part of this project. Sometimes there wouldn't be enough ink, while other times there would be too much. I had to cut paper with a perimeter of one more inch added all around the sides of the perimeter of the block. Then I used a roller to roll on the ink and pressed down the linoleum block on the paper. I did that more than five times.
